Event Staff: You Make It Happen 💼

Behind every great R5 Play tournament or program day is a team of organized, energetic event staff. Here's what your role looks like from start to finish.

Pre-Event Setup

• Arrive at least 60–90 minutes before start time
• Set up registration tables, signage, and equipment
• Confirm volunteer assignments and brief your team
• Do a walk-through to ensure safety and accessibility

During the Event

• Manage athlete and family check-in smoothly and quickly
• Direct participants to correct fields, courts, or areas
• Monitor for safety concerns and escalate promptly
• Support coaches with logistics: equipment, timing, scoring
• Be the friendly face athletes and families turn to for answers

Post-Event Breakdown

• Collect and return all equipment to designated storage
• Complete your post-event report form
• Report any incidents, injuries, or concerns to the event lead
• Leave the venue clean and secure
