Information for Parents and Guardians
At Brava FC, we know that when a girl joins a soccer club, her whole family is part of the journey. Here's everything you need to know as a parent or guardian.
Communication
Clear, timely communication is a priority for us. Here's how we'll keep you informed:
- Registration confirmation: After registering, you'll receive details including practice times and field location
- Schedule updates: Any changes to the schedule (weather cancellations, time changes, etc.) will be communicated directly to registered families
- Social media: Follow Brava FC on Facebook and @bravafootballclub on Instagram for updates, photos, and news
Drop-Off and Pickup
- Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the session starts so your daughter has time to get ready
- Players must be picked up promptly at the end of each session
- A parent or designated guardian must be reachable by phone during all sessions
- Please inform coaches of any changes to pickup arrangements
Code of Conduct
Brava FC is committed to creating a positive, respectful environment for everyone. We ask that all parents and guardians:
- Be supportive and encouraging — cheer for all the girls, not just your own daughter
- Respect the coaches' decisions — trust that our coaching staff has every player's best interests in mind
- Keep sidelines positive — no negative comments toward any player, coach, or referee
- Model good sportsmanship — your daughter is watching and learning from you
- Communicate concerns respectfully — if you have questions or issues, speak with a coach directly, not on the field
Volunteer Opportunities
Brava FC is a community effort, and we welcome parent involvement! Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Helping with setup and cleanup at training sessions
- Assisting with team events and logistics
- Supporting fundraising efforts as the club grows
- Team photography and social media content
