Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions about Brava FC? We've got answers. Here are the most common things parents ask us.
Is Brava FC really free?
Yes! Brava FC is completely free to join and participate in until further notice. There are no registration fees, no training fees, and no hidden costs. We want every girl who wants to play to have the opportunity.
Does my daughter need soccer experience?
No. Brava FC welcomes girls at all skill levels — from absolute beginners to experienced players. Our coaching is designed to develop every player, no matter where they're starting from.
What ages can join?
Brava FC is open to girls born between 2017 and 2020.
Can my daughter attend just one day a week?
Absolutely. Training is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, and attendance is completely flexible. Your daughter can come to one, two, or all three sessions — whatever works best for your family.
Where exactly are the training sessions?
Training takes place in Caledon, Ontario. The exact field location and practice times will be sent to you after you register. This ensures all registered families have the most up-to-date information.

What does my daughter need to bring?
Soccer cleats, shin guards, a water bottle, and comfortable athletic clothing. Check our Equipment & What to Bring article for the full list.
Is this a competitive or recreational program?
Both — and that's by design. Right now, we're in the development phase, focused on building skills and team chemistry. As the squad grows and develops, we'll transition into competitive matches, tournaments, and league play. The goal is to build a competitive girls' squad from the ground up.
How do I stay updated on schedules and news?
Follow us on social media for the latest updates, schedule changes, photos, and news:

Registered families also receive direct communication about schedule details and any changes.
Will there be a cost in the future?
For now, Brava FC is free. If that ever changes, registered families will be given plenty of notice. Our priority is keeping the sport accessible.
Can boys join?
Brava FC is a girls-only club. This allows us to create an environment specifically designed for girls to develop, compete, and build confidence on the field.
My daughter is shy / nervous — will she fit in?
Yes. Many of our players start out feeling nervous, and that's completely normal. Our coaches create a welcoming, supportive environment where every girl is encouraged to be herself. She'll make friends fast — the soccer field has a way of bringing kids together.
