Indoor league (PHIGL)

Hey, here’s the simple version of indoor this winter.

This is PHIGL — Peel Halton Indoor Grassroots League. New PHSA indoor league for U8–U13. It replaces PHSA futsal for 2026–27 (no PHSA futsal this winter). D.G. Sports helps run it.

When we play

Oct 24, 2026 – May 2, 2027.

Off dates: Dec 25–Jan 1, and Mar 27–28.

18 league games over 26 weekends. Earliest kickoff is 8:00 am. Games can be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Where

Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon, Milton, and Oakville — scheduled by geography. Interlock with Hamilton and Toronto clubs is possible.

U8 / U9 format

• 5v5
• 2 × 20 minutes
• No end-zone 5v5 games
• Teams register in their birth-year division. Playing up only with PHSA technical committee approval.

Club rules

No reschedules. A forfeit is a $500 fine. The club has to be in good standing with Ontario Soccer and its district.
