When a player needs to play up
If a player is younger than the age group, they may need a playing-up assessment before they can register in PowerUp.
Fast Track assessments (U8–U14)
Playing-up assessments run through the club’s Fast Track process for ages U8–U14.
What happens next
- The playing-up assessment is completed (club form / Fast Track as required).
- The club, district, and Ontario Soccer approve it.
- PowerUp registration opens for that player once approval is in.
Rules that matter
- Up to three underage players are permitted per age and gender.
- Players who already completed the new Ontario Soccer Fast Track form this summer do not need to renew for the indoor season.
2019 girls on this team
U9 Competitive may not show in PowerUp until that approval is done. Once the club’s play-up form is submitted and approved for each 2019 player, PowerUp opens for that player.
