What is PHIGL?
PHIGL is the Peel Halton Indoor Grassroots League — a new PHSA indoor league for U8–U13. For 2026–27 it replaces PHSA futsal (there’s no PHSA futsal this winter). It’s run with D.G. Sports.
This season
- Oct 24, 2026 – May 2, 2027
- Off dates: Dec 25–Jan 1, and Mar 27–28
- 18 league games over 26 weekends
- Games on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
- Earliest kickoff: 8:00 am
- Venues across Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon, Milton, and Oakville (scheduled by geography). Interlock with Hamilton and Toronto clubs is possible.
U8 / U9 format
- 5v5, two halves of 20 minutes
- No end-zone 5v5 games
- Register in the birth-year division
- Playing up only with PHSA technical committee approval (see the Fast Track article)
Club notes that matter
- The club doesn’t reschedule games
- Forfeit fine is $500 (club/league rule)
- The club must stay in good standing with Ontario Soccer and its district

Schedules come out after the roster and team officials are approved.
